Substitute teachers needed for classes at Högbergsskolan, Malmenskolan, and Smedenskolan. About the Job As a substitute teacher, you will be contacted as needed to cover shorter or longer absences. You will have the opportunity to contribute to learning for upper secondary students in various courses (including Swedish, English, history, social studies, mathematics, etc.). You will work based on the regular teacher's lesson plans or from a substitute folder. You will be welcomed and shown where you need to be for the day and instructed on what is expected of you. You create a sense of security for students and, based on your abilities, support students in their learning and attendance. Job Description The employment will be hourly work as a substitute, and you will be paid for the hours you work. Being a substitute teacher can be a good complement if you are studying or perhaps if you are retired but feel you want to continue contributing to students' learning and development. You may be asked if you can substitute the same day or a few days before you are needed on site. You are expected to be in the classroom with the instruction group you are substituting for and follow the lesson plans you have been given. About You You have relevant competence and education as well as a commitment to education, learning, and teaching. Either you have previous experience with this, or it is something you feel you want to try. Perhaps you are studying to become a teacher or wondering what you want to study? Perhaps you have a sabbatical year or are a retired teacher. Furthermore, you have good digital skills and preferably experience working in various digital platforms. We work on behalf of Ludvika and Smedjebacken municipalities. VBU has approximately 250 employees, approximately 1,800 students, and a turnover of approximately 225 Mkr.
