Temporary Care Staff Needed for Private Short-Term Residential Facility

Björklunda is a short-term residential facility located in a rural setting just north of Arlanda. We serve individuals with mental health disabilities, with or without a history of substance abuse. We are licensed for 17 residents living in our two buildings: the main house and the annex. The property is partially adapted. We are a small team with a familiar, family-like work environment, so personal suitability will be weighted heavily. You are trained as a mental health nurse/nursing assistant. You have previous experience working with this patient group and are confident in your role. It is a great advantage if you speak multiple languages and have further training in, for example, Motivational Interviewing (MI) or other comparable treatment methods. You enjoy going the extra mile for our residents. As a person, you are flexible, have a strong work ethic, and are always solution-oriented. Of course, you love working with people and are not afraid to take initiative within the scope of the operation's framework and authority. You want to make a difference for the residents every day, and your fundamental belief is in the equal value of all people. You must have a driver's license due to Björklunda's geographic location and because excursions are a significant part of the job duties. As a mental health nurse/nursing assistant at Björklunda, your work is highly varied. We practice active contact person support and place great emphasis on activities and meaningful daily life. The residents have different types of mental health disabilities, and substance abuse backgrounds may occur (comorbidity). We accept people of all nationalities, so it is a great advantage if you speak multiple languages. Otherwise, the tasks are the usual ones—such as personal care, some cleaning, residential support, some cooking, and medication management.
