As a nursing assistant/care assistant, you are a valuable key player who contributes to our residents having a safe and meaningful life in their senior years. We always base our approach on the residents' wishes and abilities, and focus on what is healthy. As a nursing assistant/care assistant, you are responsible for providing dignified and good care based on each elderly person's individual needs. Common work tasks may include assistance with daily care, medication administration, documentation, support during activities, serving meals, and light cleaning in the residents' apartments. You will get to participate in everything from educational care moments to enjoyable activities with the residents. A very exciting job, simply put! About Björknäsgården Elderly Care Home Björknäsgården is a newly built private elderly care home that opened to the public in November 2019. We offer 126 residential places for our elderly, of which 18 are for dementia care. In February 2024, we will open an additional 18 dementia care places. The home is centrally located with close access to animals and nature. Parking and block heaters are available for our car-commuting employees. Björknäsgården is a home that specializes in daily activities for our residents, big and small. We are looking for employees who want to become part of our team and are eager to take their resident support to a new level. We are seeking someone with a big heart and a desire to make a difference. We would like to see that you enjoy working with people and have a strong sense of service. You should also be good at collaborating with others and have the ability to be flexible and responsive when needed. It is advantageous if you have nursing assistant training (or equivalent education) of at least 1350 credits. It is highly advantageous if you have previous experience in elderly care. Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, is required. We would like to see that you have good computer skills/experience and experience with documentation.
