Description As an employee in Gislaveds Municipality, you are a co-creator in your workplace. You are given the opportunity and are expected to contribute to the development of our operations through your knowledge and experience. For us, respect for diversity and the equal value of all people are fundamental. As temporary kitchen staff in Gislaveds Municipality, you will be an important part of our operations and contribute to our guests receiving good, nutritious, and well-prepared meals. You will have the opportunity to use your skills and experience while also having the chance to develop further within kitchen operations. We are looking for someone who wants to work as temporary staff and can step in when needed, for example, due to sick leave, vacations, or other short-term assignments. Work may occur at different workplaces within the municipality's kitchen operations. Job Responsibilities As temporary kitchen staff, you will work with varying tasks depending on the needs of the operation and your experience. Your responsibilities may include: Prepare and cook meals. Work in large-scale kitchens. Prepare salad buffets and side dishes. Prepare special diets, allergy-friendly meals, and vegetarian food. Prepare and bake for café operations. Work with dishwashing, cleaning, and other kitchen tasks as needed. Follow food safety routines, self-inspection, and special diet procedures. We appreciate flexibility and a willingness to learn different aspects of kitchen operations. Qualifications We are looking for someone with an interest in food and service who enjoys working together with others. It is an advantage if you: Have education in restaurant and food service. Have experience from restaurants, large-scale kitchens, school kitchens, or other food service operations. Have experience preparing special diets or vegetarian meals. Have knowledge of food safety and self-inspection procedures. Have a B-category driver's license and access to a car. Even if you lack formal education but have a strong interest in kitchen work, you are welcome to apply. We place great importance on personal suitability. As temporary staff, you need to be flexible, responsible, and able to adapt to the operation's needs. You work well with others, are service-oriented, and contribute to a positive work environment. You also need to be able to work at a sometimes fast pace and be prepared for tasks to vary from day to day. We conduct background checks (criminal record extracts) as part of our suitability assessment. Want to be part of our success? We look forward to receiving your application! In Gislaveds Municipality, full-time work is a right, and therefore vacant positions* are advertised as full-time. When the operation can accommodate part-time work, that is of course a possibility. *Positions shorter than 3 months and certain roles may be exempt. In connection with our recruitment efforts, Gislaveds Municipality has made decisions regarding recruitment channels and marketing. We therefore firmly decline contact from media sales representatives, job boards, and similar parties.
