About the Position
We are looking for someone who can step in as a substitute teacher in school and after-school care as needed. You may be contacted in the morning when the need arises, but sometimes it involves covering planned absences among staff members. This could mean a few hours or full days, sometimes several consecutive days replacing regular staff. As a substitute, your tasks may vary, but your responsibilities include supporting the operations in various ways. This may involve teaching in school and after-school care or being a resource for students in classrooms and during recess. You are a flexible and adaptable person who ideally has had similar assignments before. You have a good ability to lead a group of students and to follow existing plans. You are an open and outgoing person who quickly integrates into the good community spirit that exists at the workplace.

We are looking for you as a responsible person with an interest in children and young people's development and learning. You easily adapt to new work methods and routines and have values and an approach based on the belief that all children can succeed. You are a clear leader, have good collaboration skills, are flexible and take responsibility.
It is advantageous if you are studying or have studied a pedagogical education or have experience with pedagogical work, but we will also look at other qualifications.
It is a requirement that you can swim, as you may attend with our students at the swimming pool. It is advantageous if you can lifeguard and/or CPR.

About the Employment
As a substitute teacher, you will be contacted by the school administrator when regular staff are absent. This may involve calls/texts in the morning for work the same day, but also planned substitute assignments.
When you apply for a job with us, we will ask you to show an extract from the Police Crime Record Register. The extract we request is "School or preschool" and you need to request the extract yourself, which you can find on the police website: Crime Record Register - request extract | Swedish Police Authority (polisen.se)
Once you have received your extract, you then show it to the recruiting manager. Note that the normal processing time at the police is approximately two weeks, so it's good to order the extract when you apply for the position. The fastest way to get your extract is to use the e-service and order it online with BankID.
The Annelund/Olympia rector area consists of two grades 1-6 schools with a total of just over 500 students. The schools are located close to each other and have a shared organization where employees can work at both units.
