JENSEN School Kitchen Stockholm is looking for hourly substitutes as needed.
JENSEN School Kitchen is part of JENSEN Education and works daily to prepare, serve, and deliver meals to our schools throughout the country.
In Stockholm, we have four production kitchens: Tungelsta (Haninge), Sickla, Kvarnsjön (Botkyrka), and Bro Mälarstrand. Together, these kitchens prepare approximately 6,000 portions for 15 schools every day. We are now seeking hourly substitute kitchen assistants, drivers, cooks, and others who can step in on short notice when needed.
About the Position
Our meals are prepared in our production kitchen by cooks and are high-quality, nutritious, and varied. We have a sustainability mindset and actively work to make the best use of our ingredients. In addition to this, you share our commitment to protecting children's health and well-being, including actively working to reduce the amount of refined sugar they consume.
As part of our kitchen staff, you have overall responsibility for kitchen hygiene and the quality of meals served at school, which you take very seriously. The position primarily involves helping with meal preparation in the kitchen, dishwashing, serving meals, managing the dining area, cleaning, preparing salad buffets, and similar tasks.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who is positive, service-minded, comfortable working at a fast pace, and engaged in their work. We also need someone who is punctual and has good attendance. You are responsible and work well with both children and adults. It is very important that you are committed and flexible in your work and have a positive, solution-oriented attitude, as the role may involve rapid changes.
We consider it a merit if you have a B-class driver's license and previous kitchen experience.
Employment Type
This is an on-call intermittent position (hourly employment).
