JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As a temporary personal assistant, you support people with functional variations in their daily lives. Work tasks are adapted to the individual's needs and may include: Helping with personal care, hygiene, and getting dressed • Supporting with meals and simple meal preparation • Creating social activities such as walks, conversation, and games • Performing practical tasks such as laundry and cleaning • Carrying out medical interventions by delegation from a nurse (training included) • You receive a proper introduction at the workplace and support from an experienced colleague during your initial period. Certain interventions are performed according to the Health and Medical Care Act by delegation from a nurse. To be eligible for delegation, you will receive training at the beginning of your employment. QUALIFICATIONS Working in care requires commitment, responsibility-taking, and flexibility. We're looking for someone who is attentive, curious, and enjoys working with people. To work as a temporary assistant with us, you need to: • Be at least 18 years old • Have BankID • Have sufficient Swedish language skills for documentation, medication delegation, and communication • Be able to handle digital tools Previous experience in care and knowledge of other languages are meriting, but we place the greatest emphasis on personal suitability. A driver's license (category B) is desirable Employment type: Fixed-term employment. Duration: 6 months or longer, start date: 2026-09-15 or by agreement. Tjörn Municipality requests an extract from the criminal record register in connection with this recruitment. Visit the police website to request an extract from the criminal record register. This can be done digitally with e-identification or by filling out a form. Please note that processing time can be up to two weeks, order the extract in good time.
