Innovitaskolan comprises 26 preschools and primary schools created to meet the needs of the future. Innovitaskolan schools are located throughout Sweden, from Kalix in the north to Landskrona in the south. Innovitaskolan is part of AcadeMedia's primary schools. St. Jörgen Preschool is nestled in beautiful nature by St. Jörgen's Park on Hisingen and is a large preschool with children ages 1-5, distributed across 10 departments. The preschool has existed since 2005 and is located in the same building as Innovitaskolan St. Jörgen School (preschool through grade 9). We are a preschool that is always focused on development and maintains high quality. We work with children's interests, curiosity, and desire to learn, and we build our pedagogical projects around this. At our preschool, we work extensively with inspiring and stimulating environments where we create an engaging and permissive setting where children's voices are heard. What we are looking for: We are looking for someone who wants to work as a substitute teacher at our preschool and ideally is available to work every day. We have 10 departments and need substitute teachers daily. Experience and formal education are assets but not required. Most important is that you are curious, have strong values, and want to learn. You should be flexible, able to take initiative, and above all have a child-focused approach. Having a child-focused approach means, among other things, meeting children at their level, giving them time, being interested in dialogue with them, and ensuring their days become exciting adventures with equal parts care and learning. Your duties will include, for example, working with groups of children, supporting regular teachers with practical tasks such as conducting activities indoors and outdoors, and meeting with guardians. You should be comfortable taking instructions and adapting to new situations. You need to be able to speak, write, and understand Swedish since communication at the preschool takes place in Swedish, and you are expected to participate in the children's language development.
