As a temporary staffing member in support, care, and health services, you will have meaningful work where you make a difference for various individuals. Your Responsibilities As a temporary staffing member in support, care, and health services, you will work in elderly care, LSS (support for persons with disabilities), or social psychiatry, covering temporary absences. The work involves providing support in daily life based on individual needs and may include personal care, practical assistance in the home, as well as social and motivational support. You will meet people in different life situations and contribute to security, structure, and a functioning everyday life. You will receive training through digital education and by working alongside experienced colleagues so that you feel confident in your role. In some operations, medication administration may also occur. Your Workplace As a temporary staffing member, you can work within over 100 different operations in the municipality. In elderly care, you will support older people in their daily lives and contribute to strengthening their own abilities. The work takes place either at care and residential facilities or within home care services and is adapted to the individual's needs. At facilities, you work together with colleagues and meet various specializations such as dementia care, somatic care, or short-term care. Within home care services, you work more independently and visit several people during the same work shift. Within LSS, you will work with children and adults who have intellectual disabilities, autism, acquired brain injuries, or other significant functional limitations. The work takes place in, for example, group homes, service apartments, short-term facilities, or as personal assistance and is based on clear communication and individualized working methods, where you often work closely with colleagues in structured environments. Within social psychiatry, you will support people with mental health issues, neuropsychiatric difficulties, or social vulnerability. The work involves motivating, creating structure, and strengthening independence. You will meet people with varying needs and may encounter situations that require a secure and stable approach. About You We consider education as an asset. It is positive if you have ongoing upper secondary studies or a passing grade in SFI C. Education in care and health services, children and leisure, or behavioral fields is particularly valued, as is previous experience from work or internships in care and health services. For work within social psychiatry and HVB homes (residential facilities for children), a complete care and health services education or at least 60 university credits in social work or health and medical care is required, alternatively other complete upper secondary education combined with at least one year of experience in care and health services. You must be at least 18 years old and have the ability/willingness to perform personal care. The work requires good ability to communicate orally and in writing in Swedish as well as good computer skills. Depending on the operation, it may be necessary to be able to cycle, and in some cases a driver's license or access to a car is an advantage. An extract from the criminal record is required and language testing may be part of the selection process. You take responsibility for your work and have the ability to work independently while collaborating well with others. You have good empathetic ability and can understand other people's situations and needs.
