A Day as a Substitute in Care and Support Services Working in care and support services is varied and enjoyable. The job involves supporting people in their daily lives. You choose the area and workplaces in consultation with us at the pool, and then we schedule you for an introduction. Once the introduction is completed and approved, you can be booked for jobs. The Services We Staff Home Care: Föllinge, Offerdal, Nälden, Krokom, Ås, and Night Patrol Residential Care: Blomtergården in Krokom, Hällebo in Offerdal, and Solbacka in Föllinge Support and Services: Group homes, service apartments, day activities, and personal assistance The Most Common Tasks Can Be Divided Into Four Categories: Helping in the Home Environment: such as cleaning, laundry, making beds, shopping, and cooking. Personal Care: assisting with showers and toilet visits, dressing, nail care, shaving, or helping with meals. Activities: Your assignment also includes carrying out various activities for the people you help. Some people have planned activities that you ensure they attend, but sometimes it can be your own ideas, such as organizing a celebration, a movie night, or taking a walk. Medical Tasks: such as checking blood pressure, applying bandages, or administering medication. This is an assignment you receive only after working for a while and completing certain training.
