About the Facility SiS Youth Residential Facility Gudhemsgården receives non-compulsory school-age boys with psychosocial difficulties, criminal behavior, and substance abuse issues. SiS Youth Residential Facility Gudhemsgården has recently undergone an organizational change, transitioning from LVM-care to LVU-care, and is now in an exciting expansion phase. Currently, the institution consists of four units but will expand to more during the coming year. We focus on staffing density and are expanding our workforce, which is why we are currently recruiting additional staff for our operations. SiS Youth Residential Facility Gudhemsgården operates outside Falköping. Job Description Do you want to make a vital difference for vulnerable people? If so, a position as treatment assistant at SiS might be for you. The goal of your assignment is to motivate our young people toward new and less risky ways of living. As a treatment assistant, you are employed to provide care and treatment. You contribute to ensuring that the unit's routines function as intended. You play a significant role in providing stability and security for our young people and form the foundation of daily life activities such as schooling, cleaning, cooking, and more. The work can be somewhat physically demanding as you need to participate in physical activities with young people and respond to emergency calls. You help maintain order and security at the institution according to our procedures. Documentation is an important part of your work. You work toward building secure relationships and help ensure that our young people receive the safety and security they need to break established patterns of behavior. Together with your team of engaged colleagues such as treatment educators and treatment coordinators, you have the opportunity to achieve good results and contribute to positive change. Work hours follow a schedule including days, evenings, and weekends. Qualifications You must also have: At least 2 years of post-secondary education from a folk high school or vocational school (KY/YH) or equivalent education. The education should be directed toward social work, social pedagogy, behavioral science, or another relevant subject area.* Class B driver's license Good Swedish proficiency, both spoken and written Your personal suitability is key to vital change. Therefore, you need strong ability to create engagement and participation. Equally important is having a firmly grounded positive view of people, strong empathetic ability, and the ability to build good relationships. You have good communication skills and can remain calm even in pressured situations. You also have the ability to collaborate with others and enjoy sharing your knowledge with colleagues.
