JOB DUTIES As a temporary employee at Luleå Swimming Pool, your work tasks will be to: • Place the guest in focus and ensure that all visitors receive a welcoming and professional reception. You answer questions, handle cash transactions, and help create a positive atmosphere at the facility. • Monitor the pools to ensure visitor safety and intervene when necessary. This also involves handling emergency situations and being able to act quickly and correctly in water. • Ensure that the pool facility surfaces are clean, fresh, and safe. You are responsible for maintaining good hygiene through regular cleaning and simple maintenance work. • Work in our café operation, where you are responsible for sales and keeping the café well-organized and inviting. • Depending on your skills, you may be responsible for conducting swimming lessons. Working hours will primarily be evenings and weekends, but for those interested in working daytime with swimming instruction, there will be opportunities for that. If you lack experience in conducting swimming lessons, we can train you. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who: • are 18 years or older • have good swimming skills and feel comfortable in water • have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written • have experience working with computers and digital tools It is meritorious if you have: • experience working as pool staff or in swimming instruction • swimming instructor certification or pool lifeguard certification • experience from café, restaurant operations, reception, or hygiene and cleaning As a person, it is required that you are responsible and see what needs to be done to contribute to a good work environment. You enjoy meeting people and providing good service, and you can remain calm and make good decisions even in stressful situations. It is also important that you are positive, social, and enjoy working in a team. If you are called for an interview, you will be required to take a lifeguard test in connection with it, and if you become suitable for the position, you will need to provide a valid criminal record clearance.
