JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As an hourly-paid nursing assistant, you are expected to participate in daily operations. At Växjö Hospital or at one of our healthcare centers in the region, this includes: • patient care work • patient monitoring • blood sampling (venous and capillary) • wound dressing • prevention of pressure injuries Work on care wards is scheduled for weekdays and weekends and includes day, evening, and night shifts. Work at clinics and healthcare centers is scheduled for weekdays during daytime hours. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who is trained as a nursing assistant, and it is advantageous if you have experience in acute care. We also accept applications from nursing students who wish to work alongside their studies. You should be an organized person who can organize and plan your work well. You have good collaboration skills, handle stress constructively, and adapt when the situation requires it. It is also important that you understand the Swedish language and express yourself well both verbally and in writing. Since we recruit based on operational needs, you will be placed in the facility that needs hourly-paid nursing assistants. Region Kronoberg will conduct checks of the burden and suspicion register prior to employment in psychiatry, primary care, and the pediatric and women's clinic. Salary form: Hourly wage.
