About the Position Personal assistance is a service according to LSS (the Act on Support and Service for People with Certain Disabilities). In your role as a personal assistant, you will primarily help the client with everything that arises in daily life as well as with basic needs. Your work involves respecting the client's self-determination and integrity, and contributes to making everyday life run smoothly. Each assistance is uniquely tailored based on the client's life, and therefore work tasks can vary depending on the workplace. The client's individual needs guide the workday, and your work can include, for example, assistance with mobility, personal care, exercise and communication, as well as household chores and activities inside and outside the home. Who Are You? The role of personal assistant places high demands on the ability to build good relationships. We are therefore looking for someone who wants to work as a personal assistant for a 20-year-old young man with many creative and fun interests such as music, singing and dancing, and ball sports. We are looking for someone who is calm and confident in your approach, engaged and attentive, as well as flexible and responsible. The work is about being a reliable support in everyday life, accompanying him to activities after school, and contributing to structure, calm and motivation. Working Hours, Employment Level and Salary The current employment form is "hourly employment" which means work as needed with varying working hours during day and evening. Working hours are from 9:00 AM-1:00 PM or 2:30 PM-6:30 PM in Norrtälje until August 16. After August 16, evening hours are 2:30 PM-8:00 PM at the latest in Uppsala, and weekends and holidays in Norrtälje. Fixed hourly wage by agreement and other compensation according to collective agreement. Start date by agreement.
