About the Position Personal assistance is a service under LSS (the Act Concerning Support and Services for Persons with Certain Disabilities). As a personal assistant, you will mainly help the client with everything that comes up in daily life and with basic needs. Your work involves safeguarding the client's self-determination and integrity, and contributes to making everyday life run smoothly. Each assistance arrangement is uniquely tailored to the client's life, so work tasks may vary depending on the workplace. The client's individual needs drive the workday, and work may include, for example, help with mobility, personal care, exercise and communication, as well as household chores and activities inside and outside the home. Who Are You? The role of personal assistant places high demands on the ability to build good relationships. We are therefore looking for you to work as a personal assistant for a 20-year-old guy with many creative and fun interests including music, singing, dancing, and ball sports. We are looking for someone who is calm and confident in your approach, engaged and attentive, as well as flexible and responsible. The work involves being a reliable support in everyday life, accompanying him to activities after school, and contributing to structure, calm, and motivation. Work Hours, Employment Terms, and Salary The current employment form is "hourly employment," which means work as needed with varying hours during daytime and evening. Work hours are 9:00-13:00 or 14:30-18:30 in Norrtälje until 8/16. After 8/16, evening hours are 14:30-20:00 at the latest in Uppsala, and weekends and holidays in Norrtälje. Fixed hourly wage by agreement and other compensation according to collective agreement. Start date by agreement.
