Would you like to contribute to a vibrant and well-functioning Stockholm? We are now recruiting a permits coordinator who can work as needed at the City Life unit of the Traffic Office. You will have a varied role with many contact points, where you work with case processing and administrative authority combined with service, collaboration, and problem-solving. We are looking for you who are studying and want to combine your studies with valuable and relevant work. Ideally, you have 1–2 years of studies remaining and the ability to work approximately 10–15 hours per week. During periods such as Christmas break and other study breaks, there is an opportunity to work more. Your Role As a permits coordinator, you are responsible for processing various types of permit applications and responding to referrals, including from the Police Authority. You work with matters concerning, for example, land leases under the order regulations, micro-mobility, and market trading. The role involves many contact points and close collaboration with other units and departments within the Traffic Office, other administrations within the City of Stockholm, as well as external actors and partners. The work is varied and sometimes complex. Therefore, you need to be able to make well-founded assessments, prioritize between different cases, and quickly adapt when circumstances change. Your Background, Experience, and Qualifications We are looking for you who: are studying at a university, college, or vocational school in a relevant technical field, urban planning, or another field that the employer deems equivalent speak Swedish and English well, both orally and in writing are familiar with working in digital systems and case management tools have experience with customer-oriented work with ongoing contacts with customers, citizens, or other stakeholders. It is meritorious if you have: current work experience within an area relevant to the position, for example, as a case processor in a municipal or government authority experience working in a politically governed organization a B-category driver's license. What We Offer A consulting assignment starting in September, preferably September 15. The assignment is expected to run for approximately 6 months initially and may be extended. You will be part of the City Life unit, which is part of the Permits Department. The unit handles several different types of permits such as land leases connected to the order regulations, micro-mobility, and permits for market trading. It is an assignment with many contact points, both internally and externally. In addition to the unit manager, there are currently 20 people working in the unit. You will become part of a workplace characterized by a pleasant working environment with great collaboration among colleagues.
