Accessibility Expert in Digital Accessibility – Part-Time Assignment

Are you an expert in digital accessibility and want to use your expertise in an assignment that makes a real difference? Valora is seeking an experienced accessibility expert for an exciting part-time assignment within public sector operations. You will have an important role in modernizing a business-critical intranet and help make it more accessible and usable for everyone. The assignment comprises approximately 50 percent and can be carried out partially remote. About the Assignment A larger intranet on the Sitevision platform will be modernized and moved to a new technical environment. In connection with this, the intranet's digital accessibility needs to be reviewed. You will work closely with the development team and contribute with both expert knowledge and practical recommendations. Your responsibilities will include: Conducting an accessibility review of the intranet Identifying and documenting deficiencies based on applicable regulations Conducting manual reviews and, if needed, supplementing with automated tests and user testing Proposing concrete actions and helping the team prioritize them Explaining complex accessibility issues in a clear and understandable manner Contributing to the development of an accessibility statement Providing support in ongoing digital accessibility work We're Looking for Someone Who: Has very good knowledge of WCAG at level AA Has good knowledge of the DOS Act, the Accessibility Directive, and EN 301 549 Understands how semantic HTML, CSS, and JavaScript affect screen readers and other assistive technologies Has conducted accessibility reviews of intranets Is experienced in documenting deficiencies and recommending clear actions Has very good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written Has the ability to work partially on-site in Stockholm It's Extra Advantageous if You: Have experience with Sitevision Have worked with digital accessibility within a larger public sector organization Have conducted user testing in digital accessibility Are experienced in collaborating with developers, designers, managers, and business stakeholders To thrive in this role, we believe you are structured, analytical, and self-directed.
