About the Client Company Nova Industri is part of SMS group and operates in Kalix and Boden. The company works closely with Swedish base industry and offers services in design, production, service, and assembly to customers throughout Sweden. Here you will become part of an operation with strong local roots while having access to the expertise and opportunities available within an international industrial group. Nova Industri is in the midst of the development taking place within the industry in northern Sweden and is now seeking more skilled welders for its operations. Your Responsibilities We are looking for an experienced TIG welder who enjoys work where your professional skills will truly be put to use. The work takes place on-site in Nova Industri's workshop and therefore involves no fieldwork. You will work with manual TIG welding (141) in varying materials and dimensions. The assignments vary, and the work therefore requires you to be able to work independently from drawings and technical documentation to finished result. You will work with technical drawings and welding procedures (WPS), perform welding in different positions, and control the quality of your completed work. Safety is a natural part of the work. You are responsible, together with your colleagues, for ensuring that work is carried out safely and that the workplace is well organized. Your Profile For this role, we are primarily looking for someone who has already built up good experience in the welding profession and feels confident working independently. We are looking for you who: • Have secondary vocational training in welding or equivalent competence • Have at least two years of documented experience with manual welding in an industrial environment • Have experience with TIG welding (141) • Can read and work according to technical drawings, WPS, and work instructions • Can perform welding work in different positions, such as PA, PB, and PF • Have good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing • Understand workplace safety regulations, safety procedures, and correct use of protective equipment Nova Industri operates in an international environment, so it is an advantage if you can also understand and communicate in English. If you have welding certification according to SS-EN ISO 9606-1 or equivalent, this is a merit. We also view experience with stainless steel and aluminum positively. Other meritorious qualifications and certifications are Hot Work, SSG, lift training, fall protection, and overhead crane certification. A class B driver's license is also a merit.
