Job Responsibilities You will teach textile arts in grades 3-6, with a focus on differentiated instruction and creating an accessible learning environment. As a teacher, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating student learning. You build strong relationships with both students and guardians, based on trust and respect. You are aware of your own impact on student learning. Based on student results, research, and proven experience, you monitor the quality of your teaching, reflect, and evaluate with the aim of improving instruction. You provide forward-looking feedback to students with the goal of development and support students according to their individual needs. You collaborate with colleagues to develop yourself and your teaching, as well as the school's pedagogical work. About the Organization Björkestaskolan is a grades F-6 school with wonderful students and a competent staff. We have good conditions to work together to create a good learning environment through close collaboration between departments and good communication. We work to promote the well-being, learning, and development of both our students and staff. Qualifications It is meritorious if you have a teaching degree with teaching certification and experience with grading and assessment. You have clear classroom leadership and are a positive role model for our students. You are flexible and have good collaboration skills, find it easy to build strong relationships, and work well with students, guardians, and colleagues. Student circumstances and needs guide our efforts. This means you need to have a good ability to adapt instruction, both individually and in groups, for the students you are responsible for. Other Information Nykvarns Municipality is a Swedish-Finnish administrative area, and we consider it meritorious if you speak Finnish.
