Do you want to work with testing and quality in a modern development environment where your expertise makes a real difference? At the Swedish Migration Agency, you'll be part of building robust, user-friendly solutions in agile teams – where testing is an integral part of the entire development process, not a final step.
The development organization within the Migration Agency's digitalization and development department consists of approximately 20 autonomous, cross-functional teams working with modern technologies and agile methods. We're in the midst of an exciting development journey where we both build new systems and further develop our existing ones – with a focus on quality, user value, and continuous delivery.
As a tester with us, you'll have an important role in ensuring that our solutions maintain high quality – technically, functionally, and from a user perspective.
With us, the team is at the center. We value an inclusive culture where collaboration, knowledge sharing, and diverse perspectives drive us forward. Our teams work closely with users to understand their needs and ensure that what we build works in real life. Quality is a shared responsibility – from development and testing to operations and continuous improvement.
We operate from our offices in Malmö, with the possibility of some remote work. We believe in flexibility, but also in the value of collaborating on-site – so we typically work together at least three days a week.
Together with your colleagues, you will:
design, plan, and execute tests of our systems and services
develop and maintain test cases based on requirements, architecture, and user needs
work with both manual and automated testing
analyze test results, identify risks, and manage deviations
collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, test leads, and product owners
contribute to improving our working methods, test strategies, and quality processes
be in dialogue with users, other teams, and operations and support organizations
We work according to modern development principles where testing is an integrated part of the entire delivery flow. Test automation is a central part of our continued development, and you'll have the opportunity to influence how we approach this going forward.
You'll become part of a cross-functional team where responsibility, transparency, and quality are a natural part of everyday work.

You do not need to attach a personal letter with your application, but we ask that you answer the selection questions as clearly and thoroughly as possible so we can make a fair assessment of your experience and whether you are qualified to move forward in the recruitment process or not. In some recruitments, we also use tests to assess how well your skills match the position you are applying for. In a possible interview, you may also be asked questions related to security.
