Test Automation Engineer for Quest Consulting

Service Description: We are looking for an experienced test automation engineer for a mission involving the management and further development of business-critical system support for managing technical facilities and assets. The assignment includes work with systems that support operations, maintenance, and asset management. An important focus area is to further develop and strengthen the work with automated testing. There is already an established foundation of automated tests that needs to be managed, further developed, and optimized as the systems' functionality and the number of test cases grow. Your Role: The existing tests are primarily developed in Java with frameworks such as JUnit and Selenium for testing web applications. The role also includes work with development and test platforms as well as associated tools for builds, version control, and automated pipelines. You will be a central expert in test automation and support several development teams in their work with automated tests. The role involves both practical development work and responsibility for contributing expertise, structure, and working methods in the field. The assignment also includes automating existing manual tests for additional systems within the organization. You will also assist the project and operations organization with questions related to infrastructure and environments for testing and test automation. Key Responsibilities: Manage, further develop, and optimize existing automated tests. Develop new automated test cases for web and business systems. Automate existing manual tests. Work with test automation in Java. Develop and maintain GUI tests for web applications. Manage and further develop test environments and test infrastructure. Work with CI/CD, version control, and automated test workflows. Support and guide other development teams in test automation. Contribute to the development of common working methods, standards, and processes for automated testing. Support the organization with questions related to test infrastructure and test environments. Requirements: At least 5 years of experience developing and working with automated tests. At least 5 years of experience with Java development. At least 5 years of experience with GUI testing of web applications. Meritorious: At least 4 years of experience with Selenium and JUnit. At least 4 years of experience with Jenkins and Bitbucket. Experience from at least one assignment working with IBM Maximo, WebSphere Application Server, or equivalent solutions. Experience from at least one assignment working with ArcGIS or similar GIS and map-based systems. Experience with Gradle and other tools for automated build and test workflows. Experience working with test environments and test infrastructure in complex system landscapes. Your Application Does the role sound interesting and suitable?
