About the Unit Yara's terminal in Norrköping is a crucial link in our supply chain, where we receive, store, and load out products for customers in the region. Operations include ship unloading, warehouse management, bagging, and loading. As a terminal operator, you'll be part of the terminal's operational team and report to the nearest supervisory position with personnel responsibility, according to the order Terminal Supervisor/Terminal Manager. In this role, you'll collaborate with both internal and external contacts connected to the terminal. Safety always comes first for us. Responsibilities As a terminal operator, you will perform all operator work on the terminal according to the competency matrix, including: Crane operation and ship unloading Operation of wheel loaders and forklifts Bagging Loading of products Inventory management Cleaning and maintenance tasks of varying scope Reporting in the terminal's systems, such as CHP, Evocon, and Excel Participation in the terminal's continuous improvement work according to LEAN Within work environment and safety, the role entails that you: Follow Yara's safety principles, rules, procedures, and instructions Work according to risk assessments and SOP/SPL descriptions Issue work permits if delegated to you Participate in safety rounds Contribute to training of both direct and external personnel Ensure that you are informed of all relevant information for the position Profile We are looking for someone who: Has relevant education or experience from industry, terminal, warehouse, or equivalent Holds certification for forklifts and wheel loaders, with certification in goods handling/equipment Has good computer skills and can report in digital systems Is thorough, responsible, and has a strong focus on safety Works well in a team but also independently Is flexible and actively contributes to continuous improvement efforts Speaks and writes Swedish fluently Meritorious: experience with ship unloading, LEAN work, and crane certification.
