Real Estate Rights Expert – Territory Planner In the Property Identification and Formation Department of the Real Estate Management of the Property Department Position Purpose: To ensure legal arrangement of real estate property documents (buildings and land) belonging to and owned by Riga City Municipality (hereinafter – Municipality) for property formation. Your Responsibilities: - Identify and update information about buildings and land belonging to and owned by the Municipality in the Zemgale suburb territory in various municipal and state registers (including the State Land Service) - Conduct territory surveys, prepare/update situation plans and determine managed territories - Conduct research of undeveloped territories in accordance with Riga's territorial plan from a property rights perspective, including preparing proposals for creation of new land plots and developing land plot boundary determination sketches - Conduct legal arrangement of land belonging to and possessed by the municipality - Prepare proposals for including properties in the list of properties necessary for the municipality to perform its functions, prepare relevant Riga City Council decision drafts regarding these properties - Prepare necessary documents for land plot boundary reorganization and initiate data updates at the State Land Service. We Expect: - Skills to work with computers in MS Office environment, with graphic programs (MicroStation CONNECT Edition, QGIS, etc.) and other office equipment - Higher or incomplete higher academic or professional education in a specialty related to territory planning or management - State language knowledge at the highest level - Ability to analyze and use cartographic materials of any scale and age of land plots and territorial planning projects in manual and digital format - Knowledge of normative documents regulating land legal relations and ability to apply them in work.
