Ogres Municipality (Reg. No. 90000024455) announces a competition for the position of Spatial Planner in the Development and Planning Department of the Central Administration of Ogres Municipality. The position is designated with civil servant status. Requirements for candidates: Academic higher education or second-level professional higher education in spatial planning, environmental engineering, or equivalent field; Understanding of development planning issues; Professional work experience in state or municipal institutions will be valued as an advantage; State language proficiency at the highest level; Excellent computer skills at user level (MS Office, Excel, Word, text editor, electronic spreadsheets, state data systems, e-mail, internet, Construction Information System) and office equipment operation. Main job duties: Coordinate and participate in the development of Ogres Municipality's territorial development planning documents in accordance with legal requirements; Lead the development of territorial development planning documents in Ogres Municipality; Prepare monitoring reports on the implementation of Ogres Municipality's Development Program Action and Investment Plan and report to the Municipal Council with proposals for updating the Action and Investment Plan; Ensure cooperation with state and municipal institutions involved in planning document development to obtain necessary information, conditions, and opinions; Ensure public information and participation in the development of territorial development planning documents, including organizing public consultations and consultations with the public; Prepare planning document development materials, including a report on the consideration or rejection of proposals received during public consultation with justification; Place Municipal Council decisions and notices regarding decisions related to planning document development and approval in the Territorial Development Planning Information System and on the Municipality's website in accordance with legal requirements, and ensure information accessibility through other publicly available means; Cooperate with sectoral ministries, Riga and Vidzeme planning regions in the development of territorial development planning documents; Upon proposal from Ogres Municipality Building Authority, engage in and coordinate construction projects proposed by legal and natural persons from the perspective of compliance with Ogres Municipality territorial development planning documents; Provide consultations, opinions, and information, as well as responses to legal and natural persons within the scope of competence; Prepare Municipal Council decision projects within the scope of competence, as well as participate in municipal council and committee meetings; Within the scope of competence, participate in the development of Municipal Binding Regulations projects, council decision projects, and Municipal Central Administration internal regulations projects; Candidates must submit the following application documents: Motivated application letter; Curriculum vitae (CV); Copies of documents confirming education and qualifications; State language proficiency certificate (if necessary).
