The Operations-Oriented IT Solutions 2 unit is responsible for supporting the agency's core operations within the product areas Vehicle Ownership and Revenue Collection. Depending on needs, other product areas may also become relevant. Our product areas combine operations and IT around shared responsibility for development, management and long-term further development of our solutions. Our teams are organized based on product areas with their own product owners who prioritize the work. The teams jointly responsibility for how the solutions are designed and implemented. As a technical tester, you work in a development team with both front- and backend in a modern technology stack, where you evaluate what the developers produce. This means strategically prioritizing which tests should be performed and controlling the software through the available interfaces. Furthermore, it involves preparing mocks (simulating dependencies) and evaluating results in databases. To succeed in the role, you have an exploratory drive to understand and question the system. Read more about what it's like to work at the Swedish Transport Agency You will plan, design and conduct both functional and non-functional tests strategically prioritize test efforts and ensure correct test data test systems via APIs, interfaces and other integration points analyze test results and evaluate and report findings contribute to incident management and other related activities related to quality and operations participate in maintenance and further development of our testing tools work closely with developers in an agile team following scrum. You must have academic education/vocational higher education/software testing education in IT or knowledge acquired in other ways that we consider equivalent several years of current experience working in the IT field and specifically in testing at least 2 years of current experience working with databases in test and/or development contexts at least 2 years of current experience working with SQL in test and/or development contexts at least 2 years of current experience testing and working with REST APIs good knowledge of test methodology, test design and risk-based testing good knowledge of Swedish and English in speech and writing. It is meritorious if you also have work experience planning and conducting non-functional tests, especially in load and performance experience with test automation or development in .NET/C# experience with testing tools such as soapUI, JMeter and Playwright experience with scrum and agile working methods.
