Technical Test Engineer/Troubleshooter Bus Job Description: Investigate and troubleshoot systematic quality issues within telematics and connectivity systems. Analyze the behavior of both onboard and offboard systems to identify root causes. Review field reports, technical data, logs, and system performance. Perform troubleshooting across hardware, software, communication networks, and connected services. Support corrective actions together with internal engineering teams and external partners. Contribute to improving tools, methods, and processes for proactive quality monitoring. Support quality investigations related to electrical and electronics when needed. Drive continuous improvements of products, services, and development processes. Lead minor technical investigations independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams. A major plus if you have worked with technical troubleshooting on buses or trucks previously. · Technical education in telematics, connectivity, embedded systems, or related fields. · Ability to work independently and take responsibility for investigations. · Good communication skills and ability to collaborate across different technical areas. · Fluent English in speech and writing, and Swedish is a major plus. · Bus driver's license (category D) is an advantage Technical experience with: - Connectivity troubleshooting - Telemetry system design - Verification and validation of connected systems - Embedded vehicle systems - Analysis of hardware and software failures - Strong technical problem-solving abilities and focus on quality. - Experience analyzing technical data and system behavior. - Vehicle connectivity solutions and telematics platforms. - Vehicle communication networks and protocols, such as: TCP/IP CAN - Other vehicle communication interfaces Reading and analysis of system logs, preferably in Linux environments. - Connected vehicle services and cloud-based vehicle solutions. - Vehicle development processes and engineering tools Please note that you need to be located in Sweden and able to work 100% in Gothenburg with a start date relatively soon.Technical Test Engineer/Troubleshooter Bus Job Description: Investigate and troubleshoot systematic quality issues within telematics and connectivity systems.
