You will provide support to product owners and project managers on matters related to further development and lifecycle management, and act as an escalation point for troubleshooting and in connection with operational issues. The role also includes close collaboration with other technical experts within the IT Department. Typical work tasks may include: Deployment, installation, and upgrading of our systems Technically managing databases and applications Technical troubleshooting and support to users in police operations Procuring support and hardware Proactive collaboration with the business on their needs Managing configuration and customization of standard systems and applications Development and maintenance activities of capabilities and environments involving integrations, fixes, and documentation Collaboration with our suppliers on maintenance, improvements, and further development Conducting tests and ensuring that deliveries from suppliers meet set requirements Qualifications This is an opportunity for you who have: Relevant post-secondary education in IT, or equivalent acquired competence that the Swedish Police Authority considers equivalent Current professional experience in a role relevant to the position, for example as an application specialist, technical systems administrator, or similar Good technical competence in relevant areas for the position, for example regarding Windows Server, system integrations, and databases Experience in deploying, implementing changes, and updating IT systems in a Windows environment Very good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish, and good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in English The employment requires Swedish citizenship.
