We are now looking for a Technical Specialist to join our preventive maintenance team in Malmö! What you will be working with As a Technical Specialist at TePe, you will have a varied day-to-day role where you work with troubleshooting and optimization of pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical systems. You will support production, technicians, and project managers on various technical matters and drive improvement projects as well as assist with training across the organization. The role also involves participating in projects, supporting installation and commissioning of equipment, and being responsible for documentation, drawing reviews, and ensuring compliance with applicable standards and regulations. You will be an active part of the daily monitoring of the machine park's status and work closely with our technicians. By having a deep understanding of both equipment and processes, you can contribute operatively when needed to ensure efficient operations. The role also includes a clear focus on safety work, where you contribute to maintaining a safe and sustainable work environment. The position is based during daytime hours and you will report to the Head of Preventive Maintenance. Who we are looking for We are looking for someone with broad technical expertise in mechanical engineering and electrical engineering, with at least 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within manufacturing. It is a merit if you have knowledge of electrical and control systems. You have good experience with troubleshooting and problem-solving in complex systems. As a person, you are analytical and structured but at the same time practically minded. You are comfortable working both independently and in a team, have strong problem-solving abilities, and a genuine curiosity for new technology. You have many contact points, which is why it is important that you are skilled at communicating, collaborating, and solving problems together with others. We place great importance on your personal qualities and to succeed in this role, we are looking for someone who is engaged, goal-oriented, and proactive. You have the ability to improve and optimize working methods and procedures, are driving in processes, and skilled at motivating and arguing for changes.
