Within the Hospital Care unit, we work closely with care operations to ensure that digital IT support in hospital operations such as Melior and Obstetrix functions safely, stably and with high availability. Now we are looking for a Technical Specialist who wants to strengthen our team and contribute to functioning healthcare throughout the Västra Götaland region. Your Assignment As a Technical Specialist in Hospital Care, you work closely with product owners, system administrators, suppliers and other IT functions to ensure stable, secure and well-functioning IT support that contributes to high availability. You are a technical expert who tackles complex technical matters and questions from analysis, design and optimization to troubleshooting, incident management and improvement work. You collaborate with operations, administration, projects and architecture to translate needs into sustainable technical solutions and contribute to our working in a standardized, documented and long-term manner. The role also involves driving or participating in technical investigations, installations, changes and lifecycle work with a focus on quality, security and user experience. Examples of tasks: Third-line support and technical expert support for business-critical IT systems. Technical analysis, troubleshooting and root cause analysis for incidents as well as action planning. Administration and further development of technical solutions, including lifecycle and change management and installation of new releases. Continuous security work. Technical requirement specification and collaboration with operations, suppliers and internal IT functions. Documentation, standardization and automation (for example scripting) to improve quality and efficiency. What Can We Offer You? What You Need to Succeed in the Role: We are looking for someone with at least 5 years of experience in technical application operations and management of business-critical IT systems, preferably in complex environments with high demands for availability and security. You have experience with troubleshooting and root cause analysis, driving technical investigations and translating needs into sustainable solutions in collaboration with other teams and suppliers. You express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing, and have a very good ability to document. Your Competencies (Requirements): Relevant higher education in IT or equivalent experience Microsoft Windows Server Microsoft SQL Server Microsoft IIS Certificate Management Basic platform services (for example AD, DNS) It is advantageous to have knowledge of: Scripting skills (for example PowerShell, shell-scripting) and experience in automating and standardizing technical tasks FileMaker Linux Experience and understanding of hospital systems such as medical record systems Experience with agile working methods and/or ITIL (incident, problem and change management) Experience with technical requirement specification, supplier dialogue and monitoring of deliveries As a person, you are responsible and proactive, with good collaboration skills and a clear focus on operations and customers. You enjoy sharing knowledge, contributing to common working methods and driving improvements together with others.
