Olssons Elektromekaniska is seeking a technical project manager to take responsibility for customized backup power projects in industry and critical infrastructure operations. You will lead projects from start to completion and commissioning. Your Assignment As a technical project manager, you are responsible for the entire project process. Projects vary in scope and complexity and can run from one to several years. You work closely with customers, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal specialists. You ensure that technical requirements are translated into functioning solutions and that deliveries are executed according to contract. Your main responsibilities include: • planning and driving projects from design to delivery, commissioning, and final inspection. • interpreting technical specifications and drawings and ensuring that the facility meets customer requirements. • managing the project schedule, budget, documentation, and ongoing follow-up. • coordinating with the customer's project manager, electrical and mechanical designers, installers, testers, production planning, suppliers, and subcontractors. • participating in construction meetings and inspections and providing technical support to the sales organization. The role also includes managing changes and additional work. This requires clear communication and good control over the project scope and financial implications. We Offer At Olssons Elektromekaniska, you will work with technically advanced backup power facilities that contribute to secure power supply in industries, hospitals, water treatment plants, data centers, and more. You will become an important part of a team of four project managers in a growing company with short decision paths and an organization of approximately 50 people. You will receive a thorough introduction, close access to decision makers, and support from other experienced project managers on your team. At the same time, you will have significant responsibility and authority to drive your projects forward. You report directly to the CEO. The role gives you the opportunity to influence projects from beginning to end. You will work with varying customers, facilities, and technical solutions. If you have a strong technical interest, there are good opportunities to continue developing within electrical power, backup power, and project management. The position is primarily based at Olssons Elektromekaniska's facility in Rydsgård, and it is an advantage if you live nearby. Travel is part of the role; a driver's license is required. This is a permanent position. Who Are You? We are seeking someone with experience in technical project management who is accustomed to driving projects with multiple internal and external parties. You could come from, for example, electrical power, automation, industry, or another technically complex field. Alternatively, you have an engineering degree in electrical engineering, power engineering, or a related field and want to develop further in project management. As a person, you are responsible, thorough, and solution-oriented. You create structure even in complex projects and ensure work moves forward. You are humble and work well with people in different roles. At the same time, you are clear when you need to follow up on deliveries, handle deviations, or ensure that agreements are honored.
