At Bilfinger, we are now looking for a technical project manager who wants to take the next step in their career. We are seeking someone with a background in an engineering discipline who enjoys leading projects, driving change, and creating results together with customers and colleagues in Swedish industry. With us, you'll have the opportunity to combine project management with technical specialist work and gradually develop as our customers' and projects' needs evolve. About the Position As a technical project manager at Bilfinger, you will work in a varied role where you lead investment, restructuring, and development projects within the process industry. Projects are carried out both at our customers' sites and together with our multidisciplinary engineering teams. The role combines project management with technical engineering work within your field of expertise, meaning you both contribute to project implementation and to the technical development of our assignments. You are responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring projects regarding time, cost, quality, and safety, and you ensure that project objectives are achieved in close collaboration with customers, suppliers, and internal resources. Key Responsibilities Lead projects through their entire lifecycle, from feasibility studies and concept development to implementation and handover. Plan and coordinate resources, activities, and deliverables. Manage project finances, schedules, and reporting. Support and coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams. Contribute technical expertise within your own discipline. Participate in customer dialogue and develop long-term customer relationships. Ensure that projects are executed according to Bilfinger's high standards for HSE, quality, and sustainability. About You We are looking for someone with a technical education and experience from the process industry, energy, chemicals, mining, combined heat and power, or similar operations. You likely have a background in areas such as process, mechanics, piping, electrical, instrumentation, automation, design, or project work, and in recent years have taken on increasing responsibility for leading projects, activities, or technical teams. As a person, you are structured, communicative, and solution-oriented. You enjoy creating engagement, building relationships, and driving work forward together with others. You also have Engineering degree or equivalent technical experience. Experience from the process industry or other technically advanced industrial operations. Experience and interest in leading technical projects, sub-projects, or multidisciplinary assignments. Good understanding of project management, planning, and financial monitoring. Strong commitment to safety and sustainable working practices. Good knowledge of Swedish and English. Valid driver's license (category B).
