Technical Project Manager, Product & Systems Development

About the Position As Technical Project Manager, you will be responsible for one of our client's most strategic development projects. You will lead the work through the entire product development chain and are responsible for ensuring the project reaches its goals regarding quality, cost, time, and function. The role involves close collaboration with developers, systems engineers, and external partners in mechanics, electronics, and software. Your Main Responsibilities: • Lead technical development projects from planning to delivery. • Manage timeline, budget, risk management, and requirements definition. • Coordinate cross-functional teams and external suppliers. • Monitor project status and report to steering committee and management. • Ensure verification, validation, and documentation. • Participate in testing activities and development activities in a production-near environment. You will be based primarily in Huddinge and will travel periodically to the operations in Malmberget. Project Description: • Development of next-generation drilling systems • The project is driven according to an overall plan that is broken down into a pulse-based process for monitoring and control. • Development work includes collaboration between mechanics, electronics, and software teams, with both internal and external resources. • Testing takes place in a mining environment in Malmberget • Current focus is on completing technical development and increasing the system's maturity level before verification and validation are performed. Required Qualifications • At least 5 years of experience in technical project management • Higher education or civil engineering degree • Experience with complex development projects • Experience leading cross-functional teams • Experience with requirements definition for suppliers and partners • Strong technical understanding in multiple technical areas • Very good knowledge of Swedish and English • Category B driver's license • Ability to travel for work Desirable Qualifications • Experience from mining industry or heavy industry • Experience with systems integration • Experience with machinery development • Experience with product development from concept to finished product • Experience with CE-marked products About Us at Framtiden Framtiden is a recruitment company that helps people and companies find the right match.
