The overall responsibility of the project manager is to keep track of the project, both at an overview and operational level. In an organization where quality, collaboration, and development are in focus. This is a consulting assignment that extends to the turn of the year for now, with good chances of contract extension. About the Position As a technical project manager, you are responsible for ensuring that the project charter becomes more than just a paper product—it becomes a map that shows the way through the entire project. If goals or conditions change along the way, the project manager is responsible for updating the charter after consultation with affected stakeholders. To prevent the project from swelling unnecessarily—so-called "scope creep"—the project manager uses the charter as a practical support in decision-making. By checking new ideas against what was originally decided, it becomes easier to maintain focus on the right things and deliver what is actually expected. Responsibilities Plan the timeline for the project's overall components by defining critical milestones, identifying internal and external dependencies between activities, and obtaining realistic deadlines to ensure efficient workflow and on-time delivery. Break down overall project goals into concrete and manageable activities. Each activity is assigned to a responsible team member with clearly defined expectations regarding timeframe and quality requirements. Responsible for ongoing monitoring and prioritization of all project activities. This work should be done in close consultation with other project organizations to ensure that resource allocation and delivery plans are optimized based on the organization's needs. Regular and transparent status reporting to relevant stakeholders. When obstacles are identified, clear recommendations for action and decision are required to provide decision-makers with correct information. Responsible for conducting a systematic evaluation of the project after its completion. The work includes documentation of "lessons learned" and recommendations for improving procedures and processes. Ensure effective knowledge transfer to relevant parts of the organization and be responsible for conducting a formal project closure. About You We are looking for someone who is solution-oriented, responsible, and enjoys driving work forward. You have the ability to create structure, prioritize between different tasks, and communicate clearly with people in different parts of the organization. You are comfortable making decisions, following up on activities, and managing changes during the project. To succeed in the role, you need to have a technical interest, good collaboration skills, and a thorough work approach. You are motivated by achieving results together with others and find it easy to build trusting relationships.
