Job Description AFRY is one of the leading players in Scandinavia and works closely with customers in pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, and medical devices. We are now seeking a Technical Project Manager who wants to contribute to future solutions in Life Science. We are an engaged team that helps our customers develop tomorrow's life science products and processes. We primarily work on projects in pharmaceutical manufacturing, chemical engineering facilities, media systems, and equipment. As a Technical Project Manager at AFRY Life Science, you are responsible for projects in different phases such as feasibility studies, design, and implementation, and sometimes you also have budget responsibility. The projects vary in size and technical nature – for example, you will lead projects involving building new production facilities, implementing production relocations, and optimizing existing processes and equipment. The projects also include coordinating and managing specifications, procurement of components and equipment, automation, commissioning, as well as testing and validation. Work is performed at the customer site and/or at one of AFRY's offices. Furthermore, it is in your nature to be social, flexible, and to have the ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new projects and customer needs. We also believe you can check off the following competencies/experience: At least 3 years of work experience in Life Science and experience with project management in the manufacturing industry. An engineering degree or a science-based university degree. Ability to express yourself fluently in English and Swedish, both verbally and in writing. Meritorious Experience: If you have any type of project management certification, that is an advantage. Driver's license (Category B) To thrive in the role, you need to be driven, self-directed, and have good communication skills with others. You are structured, analytical, and have the ability to consider the bigger picture without losing focus on delivery.
