Be part of building the rescue boats of the future
Do you want to work in a role where technology, coordination, and an important societal mission come together?
The Swedish Maritime Safety Agency (Sjöräddningssällskapet) is currently developing the next generation of rescue boats. Over the coming years, a large number of new boats will be built and delivered to our rescue stations throughout Sweden. Now we're looking for a technical project coordinator who wants to be part of that journey.
About the role
You will be an important link between our shipyards, the maritime department, and our rescue stations. The role involves creating structure, coordinating deliveries, and following new construction from production to finished rescue boat.
You will work at the Swedish Maritime Safety Agency's shipyard on Hönö, where our new boats are built, and you will have many contact points both internally and externally.
Your responsibilities
You will, among other things:
plan and coordinate deliveries of new rescue boats
monitor production and ensure quality throughout the process
coordinate warranty and defect matters
work with technical documentation and digital systems
support our rescue stations in connection with deliveries and training
contribute to developing working methods and procedures.
Who are you?
We believe you have at least three years of experience in project coordination or similar work in a technical or production-related operation. You have a technical interest, are well-organized, and enjoy collaborating with many different people.
You have good computer skills, communicate fluently in Swedish and English, and have a driver's license (category B). Experience from marine operations, manufacturing industry, or CAD is a plus.
Why choose us
At the Swedish Maritime Safety Agency, you become part of an organization where your work contributes to something greater. The number of rescue missions by the Maritime Safety Agency's volunteer rescuers is increasing. In 2025, they left the dock over 15,000 times. The new boats you help deliver will make a difference for many years to come.
We offer an engaged team, short decision-making processes, and the opportunity to be part of developing the rescue fleet of the future.
Work location: Hönö and Långedrag.
We look forward to your application!
