Cyclife Sweden AB is a company within the EDF group (Electricité De France), one of the world's largest employers and a major player in the energy sector. Cyclife is in a significant growth phase and operates nuclear technology activities at the Studsvik area outside Nyköping, currently with 240 employees. The company possesses world-unique specialist expertise in the decommissioning of radiological facilities and helps its customers minimize environmental impact from their radiological operations. Who are we looking for?
We're looking for you with a technical background in, for example, mechanical engineering, mechanical construction, or industrial projects, and who enjoys combining technical problem-solving with project management. You have experience driving technical development projects and want to be involved in developing tomorrow's production equipment and processes in an operation where safety and quality are always in focus.
Requirements and qualifications:
Relevant technical education or equivalent work experience
Solid experience in design work
Several years of practical experience from industrial projects in, for example, machine construction, assembly management, or installation
Experience managing projects with responsibility for schedule, budget, and work environment
Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
B-class driver's license.
Merits:
Experience from base industries such as steel, engineering, mining, or other manufacturing industries
Experience as project manager, sub-project manager, or assignment manager
Experience with SAP S/4HANA
Experience in CAD design.

What does the role involve?
As a technical engineer, you'll become a central part of Cyclife's Engineering department where you work with the development of production equipment, technical solutions, and investment projects. With work tasks that include:
Provide technical support to Engineering department activities
Contribute to the development of processes and treatment methods at Cyclife
Participate in technical preliminary studies and development projects
Drive projects according to Cyclife's project model
Responsible for technical analyses for investments and procurements
Prepare technical documentation, specifications, and documentation
Ensure project follow-up and reporting to department or business area manager
Participate in budget and quotation work with technical expertise
Conduct analyses of deviations and drive improvement work
Participate in risk analyses and ensure technical compatibility within BAR work
Serve as technical advisor to production, market, customers, and authorities
Contribute to competence development and knowledge sharing within the organization
Ensure that work is conducted according to current requirements in safety, environment, work environment, and quality.
You will work closely with production, market, and other technical functions to develop processes and treatment methods, as well as provide technical support in the organization's investments and business development. The role offers great opportunities to influence both technology choices and future development within an operation in an exciting growth phase.
