Main responsibilities As a Technical Handler Marine Material, you will manage material for our Home Guard boat company. You will be part of a work team of approximately 12 people. Examples of work tasks included in the position are: Administer AU – (Corrective Maintenance) on boat and marine material. Administer FU – (Preventive Maintenance) on boat and marine material. Administer Seaworthiness Inspections Administer/conduct self-inspection of Class 3 boats Support the implementation of annual inventory. Support winterization and short-term storage of boat material. Financial reporting of maintenance measures. REQUIREMENTS Qualifications Technical upper secondary education, or other education/competence acquired through professional experience that the employer deems equivalent Vessel Officer Class 8 Chief Engineer Class 8 Good knowledge of boat repairs, preventive maintenance and troubleshooting. Computer skills with knowledge of the Office package Category B driver's license Personal qualities We are looking for someone who is solution-oriented. MERITORIOUS Technical expertise in boat and marine material Experience working with Swedish Armed Forces material and vehicles. Current experience of similar work Experience with technical documentation, preferably Swedish Armed Forces support systems such as PRIO, LIFT etc. CRM – Crew Resource Management N8/M8 (Military Nautical/Engineering Competence) or higher Category C driver's license Crane operator certification Forklifter certificate AB (TLP 10) Other Employment form: Permanent employment beginning with a 6-month trial period Employment rate: full-time, daytime Work location: Västra Frölunda Start date: As soon as possible after agreement Work also involves requirements for travel and service, both domestic and foreign. Working hours may be scheduled for evenings and weekends. The position entails war placement. The position is a civilian post.
