About the Position As a technical specialist with focus on security systems, you will play a central role in ensuring that our solutions maintain high quality and function as intended in operation. You will become the unit's technical expert and representative when handing over security systems to Svenska kraftnät's monitoring center and management organization. In this role, you will also provide continuous support to your colleagues within facility security. You will assist with questions regarding installed security systems and ensure that documentation and functional requirements are met in the design of physical protection at Svenska kraftnät's facilities. Here you will combine your technical expertise with a holistic perspective that contributes to long-term robust and secure solutions. In your role as Technical Specialist – Security Systems (Commissioning), you will work with: Conduct commissioning of security systems at various types of facilities Ensure that systems meet regulatory requirements and guidelines Develop and strengthen our ability to manage security systems at our facilities Participate in developing processes, methods, and work approaches for long-term and consistent system management Handle operational technical issues in daily operations Address technical questions related to operation, function, and continuous development of the shared security system The role also includes contributing to the development of robust and consistent system management. This means you actively participate in creating the processes, methods, and work approaches that strengthen our long-term ability to manage and further develop our security systems. As a technical specialist – security systems, you will manage multiple projects in parallel, which requires you to be organized, work independently, and have strong prioritization skills. You will also participate in developing governing documents and security technical processes, while being responsible for monitoring and follow-up of physical protection. The role involves many contact points, both internally within the authority and externally with suppliers and connecting parties. This gives you excellent opportunities to develop within the security technical field and work closely with experienced colleagues with various specialist competencies. You will be part of the Facility Security unit, which is located in the Station Technology department. About You Mandatory Requirements: We are looking for someone with high integrity and good judgment, who feels comfortable working in a security-sensitive operation where responsible handling of information is a central part of the assignment. You communicate clearly and can adapt your message to both technical and non-technical audiences, while collaborating well with colleagues, suppliers, and other external stakeholders. You work in a structured and methodical manner, even when multiple matters are ongoing in parallel and the pace is high. You have an easy time interpreting and adhering to regulations, standards, and applicable legislation, and you have the ability to see the bigger picture and prioritize your work in a thoughtful and efficient manner. Since the role involves many contact points, both within and outside the authority, you are also relationship-oriented and have an easy time building and maintaining trusting collaborations. We place great emphasis on your personal qualities. Furthermore, you have education in telecom systems with a focus on physical security, or other education/experience that the authority deems equivalent. You further have: At least 5 years of experience with technical work in the commissioning of access control systems, burglar alarms, and video surveillance systems Work experience with one or more of the common manufacturers in the industry, such as Milestone, Axis, Assa ARX, Avigilon, or similar Good knowledge of mechanical protection including system integration and technical troubleshooting Ability to analyze and handle technical questions in environments with high security requirements Good knowledge of applicable standards and regulations Good ability to communicate and express yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing B-class driver's license Meritorious We consider it meritorious if you have experience with: Reviewing and performing technical documentation Network and server environments related to security systems Security technical work in organizations with at least 1,000 employees Working in and around protected objects and security-sensitive operations, including understanding of the Security Protection Act Working in environments with requirements for documentation, structure, and traceability Management and ongoing operation of security systems, including updates and the ability to further develop systems with a focus on stability and quality assurance Good to Know The position is located in Stockholm/Sundbyberg Remote work may be possible to some extent, but is governed by operational requirements and the information sensitivity that the work entails Travel within Sweden may occur in this position, including overnight stays The position is a permanent employment.
