LKAB Malmtrafik LKAB Malmtrafik is responsible for loading, unloading, and transporting LKAB's iron ore products on the Ore Railway. We transport from the mines in Kiruna and Malmberget to the ports in Luleå and Narvik, as well as to SSAB in Luleå. Your role As a Technician at LKAB Malmtrafik, you'll become an important part of the maintenance organization for our fixed installations in Kiruna. You'll work closely with an experienced team consisting of maintenance technicians, maintenance engineer, maintenance manager, and electrician. Together, you'll develop work methods and ensure high availability in the facilities. In the role, you will, among other things: Perform preventive and corrective maintenance Conduct repair and improvement work Plan and prioritize maintenance efforts Participate in developing work methods and procedures Contribute to safe and efficient operation of the business What you bring We're looking for someone who thrives in a role with many contact points and who builds good collaborations with colleagues, contractors, and other functions in the operation. You're communicative and clear in your dialogue with others, while maintaining a collaborative mindset where you contribute to finding common solutions. To succeed in the role, you need to be solution-oriented and willing to think innovatively when challenges arise, while working systematically and ensuring that the right materials, equipment, and conditions are in place for work to be carried out safely and efficiently. You take responsibility for your work and actively contribute to an operation where safety always comes first. We expect you to: Have several years of experience as a mechanic or similar Have complete upper secondary school grades Have a Class B driver's license for manual transmission It's advantageous to have Experience and knowledge in electrical work, welding, or hydraulics Experience and knowledge in IFS We warmly welcome your application!
