About the operation Kiruna Ore Refining's mission is to refine ore from the mine into finished product. The main parts of the process are drying, concentration, and pelletizing. The department consists of eight sections in total, four of which are part of the main process and the remaining four are support sections for quality, technical and process development, material processes, and maintenance. Learn more about us at the refining plant here: lkab.com/sv/om-lkab/fran-gruva-till-hamn/foradla/ Your role As a Process Inspector/Technician, you will become part of the refining plant's maintenance organization in Kiruna. Together with three colleagues, you will be responsible for conducting inspection checks and contributing to preventive and efficient maintenance of our production resources. Your work is crucial to ensuring high availability, operational reliability, and quality in our facilities with the aim of preventing major costly breakdowns. Together with colleagues in operations and maintenance, you work towards LKAB's strategic goals, governing documents, and standards – always with safety, environment, and quality in focus. Your main responsibilities Monitor and document errors and deviations in production or processes and follow up on them to ensure that necessary measures are taken. Identify production-disrupting objects. Analyze, document, and report results in maintenance and risk reporting systems (IFS and Synergi). Propose and drive preventive measures to improve processes and facility safety in our refining plants. Participate in troubleshooting, risk analyses, and planning for when actions should be performed. Participate in meetings related to deviations, maintenance, and improvement work. Act as inspector during our shutdowns when we perform preventive maintenance and during breakdowns. Contribute to the development of work procedures, documentation, and occupational health and safety work in accordance with LKAB's management system.
