Right now, Region Skåne is executing the largest investments ever in Skåne's hospital areas. We develop complex construction projects in sensitive healthcare environments—always with the highest demands for operational safety. At the same time, we are expanding infrastructure for public transport with new service depots for buses and trains.
The Helsingborg Operations Area is part of the Facilities Operations Unit and is responsible for the operation and maintenance of all buildings and systems at Helsingborg Hospital, Landskrona Hospital, Pålsjö Psychiatry, and a bus depot. Within the operations area, we work with a variety of technical installations such as ventilation, heating, cooling, control and regulation systems, medical gases, and electrical supply and distribution. Our unit is also responsible for preventive maintenance and participates in major renovations and new installation projects for operational technical equipment.
Work is carried out in a hospital environment in close collaboration with Region Skåne's operations and staff, property managers, project managers, consultants, and contractors. We currently have approximately 30 employees stationed at Helsingborg and Landskrona Hospitals. Our primary responsibility is to create world-class operational safety and to be a reliable partner for healthcare. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
In preparation for upcoming retirements, we want to strengthen our team with two technicians specializing in HVAC for Facilities Management in Helsingborg! With us, you will get varied work with freedom and responsibility, as well as excellent opportunities for development.
In your role, your work is largely guided by trouble calls and routine maintenance operations at our facilities within the operations area. You will work primarily with the hospital area in Helsingborg and the Helsingborg operations area, which also includes our facilities and hospitals in Landskrona and Ängelholm. In this role, you have a special focus on HVAC and ventilation.
Your primary location is Helsingborg, but in this position you will work throughout the operations area covering Helsingborg, Landskrona, and Ängelholm. Travel and driving are part of the job. On-call duty may become applicable in this position.
QUALIFICATIONS
We welcome you if you have a completed upper secondary education and/or vocational education with a focus on the facilities sector. Alternatively, you have acquired equivalent knowledge through work experience that the employer deems equivalent. We take it for granted that you have good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written. Since driving is part of the job, a valid driver's license (Category B) is required.
To succeed in this position, we expect you to have several years of documented experience in HVAC. Additionally, you possess good general technical understanding of the functions of commonly occurring facilities systems. It is a requirement for this position that you have very good computer skills, and experience with computerized facilities management monitoring is a merit. It is advantageous if you have industry certifications in plumbing.
