We are now looking for a Technician for Facilities Management at Arlanda Airport! Through successful preventive maintenance and continuously improving work on our facilities, we deliver the conditions for the airport of the future, meet our customers' expectations, and achieve our sustainability goals. What does the role entail? As a technician in the Facilities unit, you will be part of a team responsible for the operation, maintenance, and development of Swedavia's properties at Arlanda. You will be part of the Building group where you and your colleagues work to ensure that the airport's terminals and other buildings function well in daily operations. The role involves varied work where you contribute to a safe, well-maintained, and sustainable facilities environment and participate in the development of Arlanda Airport. The position has a main focus on preventive maintenance, where regular inspections and supervision form an important part of the work. Your work tasks include: Troubleshooting and simple repairs such as work with doors (automatic and motorized doors) and locks, visual inspection and restart of escalators/moving ramps, and repair of fixed furnishings such as benches and seating areas. Simple plumbing and electrical work, such as clearing toilet blockages, replacing light sources, and resetting circuit breakers. Identify, initiate, and drive improvement measures for properties and technical systems. Actively develop customer relationships through cooperation with suppliers and internal parties. Documentation of actions, faults, and deficiencies. The position involves shift work with varying hours and may, if needed, also include on-call duty. Who are you? We are looking for someone who has: At least 3 years of experience in operations, maintenance, or technical work within facilities management, building technology, industry, or similar activities. Secondary school education. Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written. Good computer skills. B-class driving license. It is advantageous if you have experience with: Work at an airport. Work with automatic doors. Business or case management systems.
