Technical Lead for Electrical, Instrumentation and Telecommunications (EIT)

Emtunga Solutions AB is seeking a highly experienced Technical Lead in electrical, instrumentation and telecommunications (EIT) to serve as a technical authority in complex engineering projects, preferably with experience from industry, energy or process to strengthen our team. The position is based at the company's office in Gothenburg, alternatively Lidköping, and is a permanent full-time position. Your main areas of responsibility This role is central to ensuring technical integrity and quality in all EIT deliverables throughout the project lifecycle. Unlike a traditional project manager role, this position carries ultimate responsibility for verifying, challenging and approving technical solutions. The role consists mainly of the following tasks: · Take full technical ownership of all EIT design and engineering deliverables · Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, contract requirements and internal procedures · Perform technical reviews, design verification and risk assessments within the engineering field · Support Discipline Project Leaders (DPL) in interpreting technical requirements and solving complex problems · Serve as final technical approver for critical engineering decisions · Participate in customer meetings, supplier evaluations and technical negotiations and take full technical ownership of EIT design and engineering deliverables · Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, contract requirements and internal procedures · Perform technical reviews, design verification and risk assessments within the engineering field · You will be the company's process owner for the EIT discipline's procedures, working methods and report to the Head of Building Services Engineering Your profile: You are confident in your expertise, take responsibility for your deliverables and work equally well independently as in a team. This role suits you if you combine deep technical expertise with the confidence to take responsibility for engineering decisions that directly impact project success. Requirements: · Strong background in electrical engineering (power systems or control & telecommunications) · At least 10 years of experience within EIT disciplines · Documented ability to verify, challenge and approve technical solutions · Deep understanding of engineering standards and regulatory frameworks · High technical integrity and good judgment in engineering matters · Structured and works process-oriented · Fluent English, both spoken and written · You are a graduate engineer or have equivalent knowledge What can Emtunga Solutions AB offer you?
