If you are our new technical manager rock engineer/geologist, you will be part of the Geo and Rock Engineering unit at Ramboll.
As our new technical manager rock engineer/geologist, you will be part of our journey where the focus is on understanding future needs, both regarding technical and digital expertise, and then translating that into new business opportunities for our customers. We are looking for you who are driven to work on exciting projects where you work closely with clients and contractors. We work on some of Sweden's largest rock projects such as Västlänken in Gothenburg, Gula linjen in Stockholm, and Norrbotniabanan in the north, but also have many smaller projects. We collaborate multidisciplinarily at Ramboll - both nationally and internationally.

Your main responsibilities:
Technical manager for rock in our assignments
Reviewer for more junior colleagues
Project management for small or medium-sized assignments
Maintain contact with client/customer regarding rock issues

You have 8 years of experience in rock engineering,
You have been technical manager in at least 2 rock assignments,
You are trained in Nordic bedrock geology,
You have a Civil Engineer degree in rock engineering, a Master's in geology, or equivalent,
It is an advantage if you have experience with tender and marketing work, have worked with large multidisciplinary assignments for the Swedish Transport Administration/FUT and their governing documents, have documented experience with AMA and preparation of building specifications/FU, and enjoy discussions with clients.
You are a person whose driving force is to achieve results and goals in assignments that provide value to the customer. Thanks to your technical focus and collaboration skills, you succeed in meeting our customers' requirements and delivering solutions adapted to tomorrow's society. You are flexible and thrive when challenged in interesting projects that involve both local and international collaboration. For you to grow, develop, and feel motivated, you appreciate leadership that supports, coaches, and includes you in strategic decisions.
