Jelgavas Paula Bendrupa Primary School, an educational institution of Jelgava City Municipality, invites applications for a TECHNICAL WORKER position. Job Responsibilities - Perform technical worker duties in accordance with the job description. - Regularly inspect school premises, facilities, and equipment; perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs. - Ensure proper functioning of the school's heating, water supply, and sewage systems. - Perform glazing work, door and lock repairs and replacements. - Fabricate display panels, frames, blanks, and simple wooden products; perform furniture assembly and repairs. - Maintain, adjust, and perform minor repairs on electrical and mechanical equipment. - Work with hand and power tools, adhering to workplace safety requirements. - Perform metalworking and simple locksmith, welding, lathe operation, and similar work. - During free time, perform painting, plastering, tiling, and other repair work. - Immediately report any damage or safety hazards to management. - Comply with school internal regulations and the code of ethics. Candidate Requirements - Preferred experience in construction, repair, or technical work. - Knowledge of heating, water supply, plumbing, and electrical installation basics. - Ability to work with hand and power tools. - Strong sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and ability to organize work independently. - Knowledge of workplace safety and fire safety regulations.
