Finishing Operations Technologist

Job Responsibilities: In this position, you will be part of the CNC machining and manual finishing workshop. Your responsibilities will include: • Technological specifications for finishing: You will analyze customer requirements for the final appearance of castings. • Standards and procedures for finishing: You will develop manufacturing processes and realistic standards for finishing operations. • Preparation for machining and CAD/CNC: You will review drawings and CAD models, assess manufacturability, and program CNC lathes and mills. • Investment and technology selection: You will have significant input in modernization decisions. • Tool research and testing: You will actively search for tool and equipment suppliers. What We Expect From You? • Proven experience in CNC machining and manufacturing technology. • Experience creating and debugging CNC programs (CAD/CAM knowledge is a plus). • Ability to read technical drawings and work with technical documentation. • Advanced proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. • Class B driver's license. • Experience with quality methodologies (e.g., 8D reports, corrective actions) and 5S principles is a plus. • Responsible approach to workplace safety and sense of organization.
