Your Responsibilities As a technical specialist in database platforms, you will work on developing, improving, and automating database services based on Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL. You will be part of a product team responsible for the development and management of platform services and will contribute expertise in databases, automation, DevOps, and architecture. Location: Gothenburg Your Profile We are looking for someone with documented experience in developing and improving database or platform services. Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server and/or PostgreSQL. Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code. Experience with automation through scripting or programming. Experience with Linux and Windows-based server environments. Ability to independently develop and improve technical platform services. Ability to systematically upgrade the technical skills of team members. Experience in large-scale and mission-critical IT environments. Good ability to express yourself in speaking and writing in Swedish and English. Comfortable presenting to groups. Relevant higher education or equivalent certification and work experience. Strong analytical and conceptual ability to identify, structure, and document requirements and develop technical solutions. Ability to see the big picture across databases, operating systems, infrastructure, automation, and security. You are engaged, driven, and attentive with the ability to lead and coordinate technical work. You are confident in a technical leadership role, collaborate well in self-managing teams, and actively share ideas and expertise. You have broad technical understanding within databases, infrastructure, automation, and architecture and enjoy developing and automating modern platform services.
