The Children and Family Unit consists of 26 employees and the work is led by a unit manager together with 2 team leaders. The target group is children and young people aged 0-21. We are now looking for a team leader for our investigation unit, which consists of 10 social secretaries who work with investigating and following up measures concerning children and young people.
The Department of Work and Welfare is in the process of transitioning to the new Social Services Act, and as part of this, a new reception unit will start on January 1, 2027. The current team leader for the investigation unit will begin working in the reception unit, which is why we are now seeking a team leader for the investigation unit.

WORK DUTIES
As team leader for the Children and Family investigation unit, you will supervise social secretaries in day-to-day work in accordance with applicable legislation and are responsible for case management and legal security. In your role, you serve as an accessible support where you provide supervision, coaching and methodological guidance in daily work. You allocate and follow up work in your team, among other things through workload measurement, methodological guidance both individually and in groups. Together with the unit manager, you are responsible for methodology development and keep yourself updated in the field through current research. Based on the assignment, you will collaborate with other actors, both internally and externally. You also represent the board in the Administrative and Audit Court.
As a team leader at the Department of Work and Welfare, you will have external supervision together with other team leaders, and you will receive good collegial support here. Within the unit, we have close and intimate collaboration in management where we work together to drive development within the unit and support social secretaries to create a good working environment and legally secure work.
We actively work with competence development and all staff participate in the Career Journey program. Over the past few years, the unit has worked to train all personnel in the investigation unit in the evidence-based risk assessment methods EARL and SAVRY, and several employees have training in ERASOR.
As a team leader, you take responsibility for your own and shared work tasks with the operation's and children's best interests in focus. You are committed to completing your work tasks and work towards good team spirit in the group. You are receptive and actively seek others' views and perspectives. You place great emphasis on working for cohesion in the work group and create space for dialogue.

QUALIFICATIONS
• We are looking for you who have a degree in social work and several years of experience working with authority functions within Children and Youth. It is considered a merit if you have experience from a similar position. You are well-versed in the field's legislation such as the Social Services Act, the Act on Special Provisions for Care of Young People (LVU), the Act on Children in Protected Housing, as well as good knowledge of BBIC.
• Several years of experience working with children and young people, authority functions.
• Experience representing the board in the Administrative and Audit Court.
• Category B driving license.
• Good ability to handle the Swedish language in speech and writing.
Salary form: Monthly salary.
