Main Responsibilities If you want to have overall responsibility for one or more departments and lead employees, the role of Team Lead in the fresh produce department is perfect for you. Below you can see what it means to be a Team Lead at Hemköp: You are responsible for purchasing and sales and for ensuring that the department reaches our jointly set goals. You are responsible for ensuring that customers have a good experience with us. The customer is at the core of our business and therefore daily customer contact is important for creating a positive store experience. Together with your employees, you must ensure profitability and make sure that procedures are followed and that we monitor gross profit and sales. As a Team Lead, you have personnel responsibility. This includes ensuring that employees receive the right information, develop, and feel comfortable, and that work in the store runs smoothly and well. You will also be part of the store's management team. Position type: Permanent employment, full-time, with a trial period. Start date: September 1, 2026 or by agreement. Working hours: You will alternate between working early mornings, daytime, evenings, and weekends. What We Expect Being passionate about food, good at driving sales, and enjoying working with people is a prerequisite for this role. Below you can see what else is expected of you as a Team Lead at Hemköp: You should have knowledge of the products within your area of responsibility. You need to be familiar with basic financial metrics and have experience working in retail. As a Team Lead, your leadership is important. You need to be good at explaining procedures, describing the goals the store should reach, and identifying challenges. Enjoying a fast pace is important. Equally important is that you can delegate work, both give and receive feedback, and that you are not afraid to drive through changes. We would like to see that you have experience in leadership roles, preferably within grocery retail.
