Dedicated mathematics teacher needed for Internationella Engelska Skolan Karlstad. Internationella Engelska Skolan (IES) Karlstad is a school for grades 4-9 with 405 students and 60 employees. The school has an international focus and instruction is conducted in both English and Swedish, depending on the subject. Learning and knowledge are our top priorities. IES Karlstad is now seeking a mathematics teacher for grades 4-6 at 65%. This is a fixed-term position with the possibility of permanent employment, starting September 21, 2026. We are primarily looking for someone with appropriate university education and Swedish teacher certification with authorization to teach mathematics for grades 4-6. Your Profile - Swedish is your native language, and you have strong skills in both languages to thrive in our bilingual environment. - You have the ability to exercise personal, clear, and balanced leadership in the classroom. - You are an active norm-setter who can maintain the safety and academic order that our school promises students and guardians.
